Celebrate Father’s Day with a sweet and memorable Daddy(or Grandpa) & Baby Yoga class designed for babies and the special grown-ups who love them most. Led by Dr. Lisa Masterson, PT, DPT, CYT, this special event invites dads or grandpas to slow down, connect, and enjoy meaningful one-on-one time with their little one through gentle movement, songs, stretches, and playful bonding activities. Designed for babies and pre-walkers, this class focuses on connection, laughter, relaxation, and making memories together in a warm and welcoming space. No yoga experience is needed - just come ready to move, cuddle, and celebrate the important role you play in your baby’s life. Yoga mats and props are provided - just bring yourselves.

Instructor
Lisa Masterson, PT, DPT, CYT is the co-founder of Birdhouse and a practicing physical therapist with advance training in orthopedics, pregnancy, and postpartum care. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from CUNY Hunter College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science from CUNY Queens College. Lisa is the owner of Tula Physical Therapy & Wellness in Union Square, NYC, a practice she is deeply proud of and where she has built a strong community centered model of care. As a Lindenhurst resident, she was inspired to bring that same thoughtful high-quality approach back to her hometown. She is a certified HSS advanced orthopedic triage clinician and has been a structural yoga, instructor and practitioner for over 15 years, integrating yoga, Pilates and strength training principles into her physical therapy practice. Lisa enjoys working with new and expecting parents as well as the aging population, and is passionate about helping people with all ages move well and feel confident in their bodies. Outside of work, lisa lives in Lindenhurst with her husband, their dog, and their two young children, a role that deeply informs her work with families and growing bodies.
